Why?

You are TOO MUCH! 

A classmate told me in 3rd grade after seeing my halloween gypsy costume. 

She didn’t know my mom spent the night sewing it for me because we were short on money.

I hid, took off my bracelets and removed my rosy cheeks. As a 9 year old, I decided that maybe …  I’m too much. 

Those words resonated many times in my head.

 I wouldn't speak out, I would sell myself short, I would question myself all over again maybe I'm too much by being myself and doing what I want. 

What I want is ... what I want is … not happening.

BOOM! .. One day you realize that avoiding being too much has killed your possibilities.
